Enrique Vallejo Photo Enrique Vallejo obtained an Engineering degree in Telecommunications in 2004, and a Ph.D in Computer Architecture in 2010, both from the University of Cantabria, Spain. He is part of the Computer Architecture group of the University of Cantabria. His research interests cover multiple areas of parallel computers: interconnection networks, kilo-instruction processors, synchronization mechanisms and transactional memory systems.

In 2007 he became an Assistant Professor in the University of Cantabria, where he lectures Interconnection Networks in the Computer Science degree. He is also a collaborator of the BSC-MSR joint centre, with special interest in the topics of Transactional Memory and synchronization mechanisms.
